We are looking for a Social Media Manager who is keen to implement and further their skills and gain experience in a busy international agency. The scope requires a very hands on and creative approach, we are looking for an independent and energetic individual with an eye for detail who knows the trends, can measure success and who will build and drive the digital department.

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Develop and drive an innovative Digital PR strategy in order to effectively communicate client’s brand message on a local & regional scale. The Social Media Manager will lead digital content initiatives across digital platforms in Singapore and Malaysia. Platforms, including social media and audio visuals creation to extend and augment its relationship with its audience to build increased engagement and ultimately, revenues for the company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:

  • Drive “digital-first” content creation specific to the client’s various web, mobile and social platforms
    Knowledge of Social Media tools and ability to read data/analytics based on reports
  • Work with the creative team and the client to create unique, entertaining content that performs on multiple social media platforms
  • Build and establish an Influencer Management system for the agency to offer to existing and new clients
  • Liaison with in-house departments (Creative services & PR) to ensure all campaign and client goals and initiatives are fulfilled
  • For optimal client solutions propose partnerships with various analytics/measurement team to manage influencer management and implement Content Strategy initiatives across multiple platforms
  • Establish and implement the overall digitally led strategic direction of all digital content, and ensure the content meets client’s standards
  • Work with the internal team on story ideas and editing. Create a work culture that nurtures and rewards strong reporting instincts and an eye for compelling content
  • Implement and oversee larger initiatives such as audience strategy, schedules and calendar planning, and brand positioning
  • Work with the Account Director to develop and implement a local/regional digital strategy for clients, aligning with the client’s global strategy
  • Plan and manage the project digital budget alongside with the Account Director.
  • Set strategic and actionable objectives and KPIs and maintain a project reporting schedule that includes performance against the set KPIs by the client.
  • Participate on new business pitches alongside with the Account Director and wider team.
  • Monitor and report competitor activity, social media and relevant industry trends, events and create opportunities to appropriate clients/internal teams.
