Kin is a multi-disciplinary design & event entity that specialises in conceptualising, building and operating unique experiential properties in the sports event sector across all markets in Asia. Past events include Singapore Rugby 7s 2019, Singapore Tennis Open 2021 ATP 250, World Table Tennis Cup Finals 2021, Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon.

As the pandemic subsides, we are gearing up to prepare for the mass return of largescale physical sports events, as we expand our scope of services in Singapore.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a 2D Junior Designer, to assist in creating visuals and graphics for our events as we expand our services in the Sports scene in Singapore. As the pandemic subsides, we are gearing up to prepare for the mass return of large-scale physical sports events.

• You will work closely with various Project Managers on different projects and assist in delivering the event smoothly in the design phase.
• You will generate artwork/graphics that will help to enhance the overall event experience for the attendees, such as event branding graphics and wayfinding signages, while following the client brand guidelines provided.
• You will liaise with contractors to effectively communicate the project requirements using technical jargon, learning the different types of materials and how it impacts the actual branding.
• You will learn how to manage expectations and communicate with clients and bring their ideas to life via design.
• You will be involved in the event from planning to design and actual implementation of your designs and witness it being constructed from scratch.
• You will work closely with the events team and get to learn new skills on the job.

The ideal candidate would be a team player, responsible, excellent communication skills, think outside the box, can work under pressure, and get things done in a fast-paced environment. It will be an advantage if the candidate has CAD skills, and has graphic design experience within the events industry.

Key Skills Required:

• 1-2 years of Design experience for Event/Exhibition, Fresh grads welcomed
• Possess a deep understanding of visual design standards, typography, iconography, and colours
• Demonstrate the ability to generate original creative work in a range of styles that follows through from a given strategy or specific brief
• Proficient in design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp or similar technologies. CAD skills will be a bonus
• Can work independently just as well as you can work in a team
• Ability to work quickly, efficiently and under pressure, managing different projects simultaneously
• Posses excellent time-management skills, and be responsible and accountable for deadlines and expectations
