We’re looking for a key person to help build up the regional business to expand the Solis footprint in APAC.

You will report directly to the Marketing & E-Commerce Specialist APAC, with a dotted line to the Operations Manager based in Switzerland.

Responsibilities

Logistics:

• Optimise logistics processes and related costs
• Manage deliveries from bonded warehouse to Singapore and overseas
• Evaluate quotes for freight in and out
• Liaise with local logistics partner, local and overseas agents, and customers to ensure smooth transaction for all import and export shipments
• Maintain and update ERP system with import/export and sales transactions according to SOP
• Maintain forecasting document, and trigger internal order for new stocks after co-ordination with e-commerce & retail colleagues
• Replenishment of goods from various factories to the bonded warehouse located in China

Customer Service:

• Reply customer queries via eDesk, WhatsApp, social media, and e-commerce marketplaces (with support from e-commerce enabler partner)
• Liaise with the local service centre and Swiss product team for repairs

Backoffice:

• Supervise processing of POs by colleagues based in China
• Support sales department by updating and sending price lists to B2B customers
• Support sales team with product training

Requirements:

• Singaporean citizens or PR only due to quota restrictions
• Fluent in Mandarin (reading & writing)
• Min. 2 years of relevant experience (a bonus if experience is in the SDA / FMCG industry)
• Have experience with shipping documents such as B/L, AWB, DO
• Familiar with permit declaration procedures and ensure all GST for all import shipment declared correctly before customs clearance
• Familiar with import/export regulations, Form E, safety marks on home appliances & Singapore customs regulations (a bonus if familiar with regional customs regulations)
• Willingness to travel to China to improve logistics operation occasionall
