About Gentle No More

Founded in 2014, Gentle No More is a conceptual jewelry brand that creates handmade statement pieces, built out of the need to create something beautiful. As dreamers, artists, and romantics, we truly believe that fashion allows us to create an extension of our personalities. Just as each person who wears our creations is unique to the world, we want our accessories to add to the matchless beauty within them.

Gentle No More has been featured in Vogue, Glamour, and Britain GQ and presently ships out hundreds of handmade orders a month. We’ve recently moved the brand back to Singapore from New York and we’re looking to expand our team with committed individuals with good ideas and a detailed eye to deliver our stories through compelling visual design and art.

The role

We are looking for studio assistants to join our team and assist in the daily hand-making of jewelry/fashion accessories. You can expect a working environment that provides on-the-job training and equips you with hands-on experience and insights in operating an independent fashion business.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Preparation of daily materials such as Swarovski crystals
• Assist the team in assembling jewelry/fashion accessories
• Ensure designs are made according to the required standards
• Staying updated with inventory level
• Maintenance and upkeep of studio cleanliness
• Support in other related daily studio operations

Requirements:

• Experience in hands-on crafts
• Strict eye for detail and well organized
• Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with self-initiative and good time management
• Keen to work in the fashion and art industries
• Minimum 3 months commitment with a view to converting to full time in the future (with salary increment)
• Minimum 2 days each week
