Title: Game Designer

Department: R&D

Report To: Design Lead

Responsibilities:

• Work with Design Lead to create new game features.
• Collaborate effectively with the development team to ensure the product is delivered as intended to the design.
• Provide a designed and balanced system or content based on the overall game creative direction to meet the KPI requirements.
• Create effective documentation for all systems designed in a clear manner and make it understandable for the entire development team.
• Maintain a data driven design methodology for systems or content design by careful analysis of user feedback and key metrics to adjust gameplay and balance.
• Conduct preliminary testing to ensure that all systems or content are implemented as intended.
• Any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Game Design
• Minimum Degree in Game Design, Computer Science or any relevant field. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• High level of competency in Microsoft Office software, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Able to create detailed documentation and basic mock-ups based on UX design theories.
• Comprehensive knowledge of PC or mobile games and relevant game design theories.
• Deep passion for games across multiple genres on PC or mobile platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Bonus:

• Experience working with game engines such as Unity and Unreal Engine.
• Experience working with agile production methodologies and relevant project management tools such as JIRA.
