ROLE OVERVIEW

The Graphic Designer, Social & Content Executive, is a key support position, based out of the Mandala Club premises in Singapore,
and responsible for creative output, assisting with the coverage of events, marketing and internal communications initiatives aimed at the
Mandala Club membership community.

Acting as a central point of contact to help execute and coordinate the gathering and dissemination of content and information for member-
oriented communications as well as the design and creation process for all member-facing marketing tools. Proposing and executing
content capture and creation for socials, editorials, newsletters, as well as publishing updates on the Mandala Club website. Playing a key
role in supporting the ongoing creative evolution, relevance and innovation of the in-house members’ events program and engagement,
helping to coordinate relationships with members, team members, powerful and influential creative entities to deliver brand-defining events.

KEY OBJECTIVES & DELIVERABLES

  • With guidance and oversight from the Head of Marketing and Marketing Manager, assist with the planning and execution of
    an integrated content line-up in support of marketing and communications projects, and promotional initiatives for the
    Mandala Club, including member mail outs, tool and content creation, social posts, bespoke programming and other ways of
    creating brand / project awareness as required.
  • Be a champion for the members’ omni-channel user journey. Web/Socials -> app -> physical space -> concierge/relationship
    management, and beyond.
  • Take personal responsibility for supporting in the assembling and collating regular Mandala Club members newsletters,
    gathering together events, news, editorial and content.
  • Work closely with the Creative Studio, to assist with the creation of compelling and professionally delivered content (including
    the capturing and swift editing of still images and video footage from members events) for the Mandala Club website and
    newsletters, ensuring material is on brand, up to date, and delivered against deadline(s).
  • Drive the growth and management of the Mandala Club social media accounts with members, future members and partners
    in mind, by helping to source and provide topical, informative, smart, engaging and effective content.
  • Through utilising an extensive and varied personal network of contacts, contribute ideas for event concepts and opportunities
    for the monthly Mandala Club members’ event calendar.
  • Help ensure that each members’ event has a Mandala Club point person rostered for hosting and delivery at the event itself,
    and when there is a limited guest list for members, the mechanic works smoothly.
  • Work closely with the Mandala Club operations team to ensure the production and execution of events is expertly
    coordinated, and that event details are correctly communicated.
  • Spot trends and keep a watchful eye on the marketing / communications and event activity of competitor members clubs and
    arts organisations, updating the team when appropriate.
  • Compile information for weekly status reports on current and planned marketing activity, as well as providing support on
    presentations and decks as required.
  • Take part in Marketing/Communications and events brainstorms to contribute ideas.

SOCIAL MEDIA

  • Oversees all company social media accounts management.
  • Develop an integrated, engaging, creative, innovative content for regularly scheduled posts, which enlighten audiences and promote brand-focused messages.
  • Audits and analyses social media presences, including digital advertising costs and returns.
  • Analyses social media campaigns with tracking systems to gather visitor data and determine efficacy and areas for social media campaign improvement.
  • Works with other departments to develop content and social media timelines coinciding with new campaigns and or other brand messages
  • Monitors and develops reports on trends and competitor activity within social media spaces

GRAPHIC DESIGN & VIDEO EDITING

  • Proficient Graphic Design and Video Editing skills required for the respective content reflecting the Club, its restaurants &
    bars, events & programs, and digital content as directed by the Head of Marketing and Marketing Manager.
  • Proficient Graphic Design skills required to create or update all menus.
  • Proofread (and edit) all customer-facing collateral to ensure copywriting is on brand and accurate.
  • Create and curate photo and video assets with internal photography and videography equipment for respective campaigns.

THE RIGHT PERSON

  • A charismatic, highly social, confident, customer-facing creative professional with knowledge of the Singapore marketplace, community
    and key happenings; and experience in communications and or the business of hospitality.
  • A digital native with previous experience
    publishing content and output for websites and social channels. Someone possessing and or keen to develop a broad range of personal
    contacts across the creative, entertainment and events industries, familiar with the landscape, neighbourhoods and creative niches of the
    city.
  • A competent content creator, communicator and writer, natural relationship builder and skilled networker. Experience working on
    events is essential.
  • A dynamic team player, with the desire to motivate and encourage the team to win and continuously improve
  • A driven individual, that understands the importance of programmatic marketing towards achieving KPIs and ROIs
  • A digital native who is data-driven, comfortable with the management, analysation and visualisation of data
  • Adaptable and understands the dynamic nature of events and hospitality events that occur outside of usual office hours
    A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional lifestyle experiences
  • Curious and passionate about consumers and building brands
  • Superb attention to detail; material produced is meticulously executed
  • Editorial Aesthetics: their standard for visual content and copywriting is akin to editorial
  • Problem Solving; must be able to critically analyse and tackle problems and present viable solutions
  • Passion; this person needs to be passionate about M., hospitality and lifestyle
  • Entrepreneurial spirit; must be able to deal with ambiguity and willing to take risks as needed
  • Strong communication skills; this person is able to present information (both written and oral) clearly and concisely. This
    person needs to be able to communicate clearly at all levels within an organization
  • Creativity; they need to be open to new ideas, adventurous and practical simultaneously
    Proven ability to work cross-functionally

THE RIGHT EXPERIENCE

  • 1+ years previous relevant experience required with proven hospitality/consumer experience/content & creative creation
  • CRM and CMS management
  • Fluent English speaker and writer

BARRIERS

  • Lack of experience managing and advocating for CRM/data-driven culture
  • Lack of hands-on, entrepreneurial attitude
  • Poor attention to detail/budget/time management
