Job Description

Marketing Executive At The Projector – 2024

We’re expanding our marketing team!

You’ll be joining a small but passionate team, expect life in the fast lane, with your hands in all aspects of the business. The role will be reporting to the Marketing Manager. For interested applicants, please email your CV and your expected remuneration to worms@theprojector.sg.

Creative copywriting and graphic design skills are required.

Marketing & Branding

  • Assist in the planning and execution of marketing communications strategy for all Projector programmes to drive awareness, ticket sales, maintain customer loyalty, grow and develop new audiences.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager, Graphic Designer and Programming team to brainstorm, strategise and execute promotional ideas for special programmes and film releases to drive sales and awareness
  • Copywriting for communication collaterals and platforms including social media, eDMs, website and brochures.
  • Manage the execution of daily social media posts
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager and Graphic Designer to coordinate and supervise the creation and design of communication collaterals for all communication platforms
  • Monitor ticket sales of programmes/films closely and adjust, develop and execute plans in the best interest of the programme/film
  • Monitor and consolidate data analytics and advertising spend reports from all relevant communication channels – to track and evaluate performance of campaigns, and make suitable recommendations.

Agency Management

  • Assist in the management of all external agencies appointed by the Projector namely Marketing, Advertising and PR firms where applicable
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure Agencies are briefed clearly on project plans and deliverables, and assist to provide all necessary campaign materials and assets required of the project to the Agencies
  • Work with the Agencies to monitor strategy, timelines and deliverables to ensure the project is executed as agreed upon with the Agencies

Media Management

  • Assist the Marketing Manager to liaise with media for press previews and to run the press previews
  • Assist to draft and send press releases, and coordinate media interview requests
  • Monitor press coverage, collate and archive press articles
  • Work closely with the appointed Public Relations agency (if applicable) on strategy, timelines, and deliverables

Outreach and Partnerships

  • Assist the Marketing Manager to identify, negotiate and execute partnership opportunities for special programmes and/or film releases
  • Proactively reach out and engage potential community groups to create awareness and publicity for special programmes and/or film releases

Administration

  • Assist Front-Of-House in replying customer queries on our various social media platforms and emails in a professional and timely manner
  • Generating engagement reports. Ensure proper house-keeping and archival of all relevant marketing reports or other reports tasked
  • Other administrative tasks when required to assist

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, Arts Management or equivalent
    Marketing and/or Communications experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Highly proficient in use and management of social media platforms including platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, Tiktok, X – this is a prerequisite
  • Proficiency in graphic design (Photoshop/Illustrator) – this is a prerequisite
  • Proficient in the use of mail management software like Mailchimp preferred
  • Proactive, responsible, organised, have attention to detail and good time management skills
  • Be both a good team player and be able to work independently
  • Have patience and confidence in interacting with people, including customers from all walks of life
  • Have a love for films and the arts
