Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for various accounting tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, cash reconciliation and working with the accounting system.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records
• Handle daily cash collection and reconciliation
• Print sale invoices and monthly customer statements
• Prepare letters and emails to remind customers of due payments
• Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payment processing
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Collaborate with team members to resolve any discrepancies or issues
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the accounting system
• Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned

• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant working experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience in Autocount system will be advantageous)
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle cash and perform cash reconciliation
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Post-secondary diploma or equivalent qualification in accounting or related field
• Salary Range: SGD 2300 to SGD 2700
