Senior Designer/ Designer (Graphic and Digital)

Oculus is a strategic design communications agency based in Singapore. Our work ranges from publications to brand design/ identity, social media and digital campaigns, and everything in between.

We are seeking a new addition to our team — a senior designer. You have a background in print while you also have developed a portfolio in digital media. You enjoy working with various mediums. With a good foundation in design principle, you have strong creative conceptualisation skills and aesthetic skills. You are able to create visuals that are visually engaging, with strong ideas behind them. You are versatile, moving easily between print and digital projects.

If you have at least three years of experience in a design or communications agency or an in-house department,  send us your resume.

YOUR ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contribute in pitching for new accounts
• Liaise with suppliers and clients
• Visualise, plan, and execute graphics from initial concept to finished artwork, meeting client’s specifications and goals
• Create visually appealing work for a variety of communication materials such as annual reports, collaterals, social media graphics, websites, etc
• Work on projects that require art direction, design of content for both printed and digital media, storyboarding and animation

OUR REQUIREMENTS
• Min Diploma in the relevant disciplines
• Proficient in Adobe CC especially Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Have a  basic understanding of production knowledge and finished artwork
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment
• A good sense of popular culture, new design trends, and techniques
• Prior work experience in Singapore is a must
• Good communication skills in English
• Knowledge of After effects and Figma is a plus.
